No Autorun

Nowadays a lot of viruses that use the autorun facility as a way of spreading the virus

Steps to turn off autorun in windows.

Step 1:
Click start -> run -> type gpedit.msc -> OK


After the Group Policy dialog box appears

Step 2:
click Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -> system -> look for "Turn Off Autoplay" setting on the next set of double click "Turn Off Autoplay"

Step 3:
then select the "enable" -> to turn off on select "All drives" -> Click OK

Step 4:
Do the same for user configuration
