Steps to Change the background color and text in the command prompt:
Step 1:
Click Start -> run -> type cmd -> OK
Step 2:
Right click on command prompt title bar -> select properties

will display a dialog box for editing the command prompt
Step 3:
In the dialog box select the tab color
- Select a text screen -> select the color you like
- Select the screen background-> select the color you like
- Click OK
